    very good quality

    Loaned my heater out to a friend and got it back with the original thermostat broken. Decided to try this one as a replacement and could not be more satisfied. It was half the cost of the original, as good of construction and performs extremely well operating my 150,000 btu kerosene torpedo heater in a 2000 sq. ft. insulated shop. Tried operating the heater without the thermostat but the Dad-in-law would complain that it would either get to hot with it running continuously or to cold too quick when you unplugged it. This little addition solved all my problems. Couldn't be happier.

    I bought one 6 months ago and now have bought another. The temperature setting is exact and keeps a constant temperature in the work place. It saves fuel by 50% because you are not going to extreme heat, shutting the heater off and turning it on when you're freezing. The heater runs for short periods and keeps the temperature where you set it. Great item.

    This stat is rather nice, But with my heater it shuts off when it reaches temp, BUT I have to turn it ALL the way off then turn it back p to a set temp. Kind of a pain but it does work.
