My driver's side door lock switch on my 2012 Malibu only worked intermittently. Time for a new one. I purchased this GM switch and then watched several videos on how to remove the door panel and replace the switch. It went exceptionally well and took way less time than I had anticipated! The switch new works perfectly. Then I took the old switch apart (not much to it, really). I then lightly sanded each of the contact points and tested for continuity. Now it works again. I have a backup!

The seller said this part listed was for my vehicle. Upon arrival, I noticed it was a generic handle not suitable for my escalade. Upon contacting the seller, the seller was willing to except the wrong item shipped but seller did not do anything to try to compensate for their error. After all my inconvenience of having to repack, reprint out shippling label, drive to ship item out , the least the seller could have done is offer a discount or a mere sincere apology for their error and mistake.
