The machining may look a touch crude, but the threads are right and they seal tightly, so for a basic valve, they're great. If (like me) you're constantly plagued by leaking hoses and worn couplings, these things can be a godsend to keep your compressor tank from bleeding down overnight. Just add one in the output line, and you don't have to mess with the settings on your regulator to shut the system down when not in use. Compact enough to be used in-line on a hose, too.
