The author is a member of the British Birds Rarities Committee and the artist, Alan Harris, is joint Art Consultant to British Birds magazine.     A must-have book for the keen birder.

    Very helpful in identifying difficult species. Detail is excellent and not to be found in the usual bird books. The clarity of illustration is very good. Nothing else around quite like it. Should always be in print.
