This new 12 string resonator guitar is exactly as portrayed. It arrived promptly with no damage. After a tune up, I played it: The resonator sounded great and the pickup worked well, as did the volume & tone controls. Hard to beat for the price. The guitar is not as famous as some but it plays great, sounds great and is actually prettier to look at than some of the pictures. Some famous musicians take a 12 string with this many features and string it with 6. Nice to have the option.

sorry about the mix-up, just such a great value, couldn't believe the value of this. but went ahead, not crazy bout the red, natural would be nicer, but am not in a position to change that.

Delivered in good condition but horrendous unplayable buzz from resonator bowl will mean more luthier cost to repair and set up as should be.

Cozart is a brand to trust . Excellent Deal on price and guitar!!!

I am extremely surprised and very satisfied. The sound is clean. I put elixir 10/46 or Ernie Ball Nickel wound strings as a habit to any guitar i purchase .This particular one has Elixir 10/46 Optiweb strings nickel plated .Smooth action straight neck. All pickups work flawlessly . Stays in tune 90% of time.

    FUNKY! Weird and (wonderful)?

This guitar has some crazy confusing switches....I mean crazy. They all seem to affect each other. I have the Jag/Jazzmaster switches down, but these are all messed up. Up is down, forward is the back PU, ect. It can be switched in 20 different ways, and you get one pickup or the other, or both, so just set it and forget it. The bridge PU is too low, and when I tried to turn the screws to bring it up.....they stripped. I'll have to take it apart to remedy that. The pickups themselves are not very "hot", but have a very bright sound, and almost won't distort with high gain. Brighter than my Strat, or Tele. The whammy bar has an adjustable spring tension, but it has a non rocking bridge (like a Jazzmaster or Jag) and no rollers, so it's not really great as far as that goes. Easily fixed ...

  • Great value

For the price, this goldtop copy is pretty nice. It’s for sure an awesome base for a project guitar. The hardware is pretty average to low quality but that is expected. Basically buy it, gut it and replace the hardware and this guitar will hold its own with mid to high end lp types out there. The neck tenon is long and the body resonates very well and bright. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.

  • Good looking, but not very playable out of the box.

This is an inexpensive guitar & I didn't expect too much. The finish on the body is actually quite good & the neck & fretboard aren't bad. However, the cheap plastic nut is terrible. It will need replaced before the guitar is playable The high E string buzzes so bad it sounds like a sitar. I believe there is also a high fret somewhere near the middle of the fretboard that I haven't tracked down yet, which hopefully won't be hard to fix once located. The tuners aren't great, but probably adequate if the guitar isn't played a lot at one sitting. The pickups look cheap & don't have a lot of output, but they all work. Bottom line: not a terrible guitar for the money, but there are better choices in the same price range (Firefly guitars, specifically, if you can find one). If you want an ...

  • Great guitar for the money

Right out of the box I tuned it up and played it for a while seems to stay in tune. First impression is that everything looks and plays well. Finish is very nice, frets are smooth with no sharp edges. I've owned many guitars over the years (I'm 63 years old, I used to own my own music shop, and worked as a guitar tech for many years) and I've worked on many expensive guitars, and sold some inexpensive ones. But I thought if this needs work I could set it up. Doesn't look like I have to much to do on this one..... Very pleased with my purchase....... If I was looking for a beginner guitar for a student or myself I wouldn't look any further. I'm sure it is a hit or miss on these but mine was amazing out of the box.... I'd take a chance on another.....
