Item works for my 2004 Sears Craftsman DLT3000 42" Riding Mower with Honda V-Twin 16. HP engine. This new item does not have nearly as much material or "beef" in two critical areas, both susceptible to more shock and abuse than others (see picture). My first deflector lasted 20 years, but I seriously doubt this new one will come close to that. A side by side comparison clearly shows the difference in the thickness of the plastic. Oh well

Craftsman YT3000 - Had to grind down the lip on the metal mounting bracket because the plastic deflector does not

On a scale of 1-10, this seller should be at least a 50. He shipped my purchase quick. The package got lost/delayed for some reason at some point in route.
