I would recommend the seller. Shipping took a while, especially custom clearance but that was on my side, not something the seller could do much about. I wanted to have enough time to see defects, cathode poisoning and such. I replaced C4 with a 680uF 10V, and now have a one second per digit display time. I was also able to plug a ZIF socket into the driver IC socket for even more convenient testing. You probably can use a smaller power adapter than the recommended 12V 1A (which is more than enough for a whole 6 digit clock). Mine is running great on a 12V 300mA.
