      Made in Japan, do i need to say more?

      Amazing sharpening stone that comes with plastic stand to hold stone on its place. This stone will bring your sharpening skills on another level. Nice 1000 grit will get your tools very sharp and after 6000 grit, you will achieve almost mirror effect on the edge of blade. Definitely recommended!

      makes the job done

      the stone is good quality, sharpens knifes perfectly, only one problem in my case it came a bit damaged, so i cant use all of the surface, but overall it is a good product if you are lucky to receive shipment without damage.

      High end sharpening stone

      Very high quality sharpening stone, but english instructions would be useful, though you can find english instructions about this product on google. Im just saying if it would be included in the package, it would be the icing on the cake.

      Great quality stone

      I'm comparing this product with a non-branded 1000/6000 stone I purchased from eBay. It was like comparing apples to oranges, the King stone is by far superior in every aspect. It took less time on the King stone to form a burr. The 6000 side did a wonderful job of getting the edge to a very clean finish. The exact opposite was the case with the cheaper stone. Yes, the King stone is twice the price, but you only have to buy it once. Save your time and money and skip the temptation to buy cheap. You'll just end up buying another stone afterwards.

      Excellent stone, buy it

      The stone is really easy to use, and is of good quality. It is smaller than regular whetstones but it is good sized and more than enough to sharpen any knife I had at home. 1000 grit side cuts the knife really well, but relatively slow and steady, while the 6000 grit side gives a smooth mirror finish on the edge. Knives were razor sharp after that. The stand stand is decent, it gives you good height off the surface, but you need to be careful not to get it wet, since it starts slipping. It has rubber legs so that's understandable. I think that just a minor inconvenience since it's easy to wipe it off from time to time.
