    The lid was very tight but I washed it in hot water and was able to stretch it for a better fit. The lid is nice looking with the name Corningware printed on top. I am sure I will be able to use this lid for years to come. I received the lid in a very timely manner.

    The best lid for Corningware dishes.

    I tried aftermarket clear lids for the Corningware casserole dishes that were made out of silicone after my original lid browned and cracked after years of use and they just didn't stay on well and were too flimsy. I also don't like the solid white lids Corningware came out with that you can't see through so you don't know what's in the dish without taking the lid off. These original clear lids are the best lids ever made for the Corningware casserole dishes. They are firm, lock onto the dish tightly and you can see what's in the bowl.

    These kids are great to use with my Corningware. Be sure you look for the tab differences as different CW patterns are different sizes. So glad to have this option.

    Corningware A-1-PC 1.5 Qt White Plastic Replacement Lid Cover for Casserole Dish

    The lid is a little snug, making it difficult to place on the casserole dish. My casserole dish is many, many years old but it is Corningware and it should be an easier fit. I can use the lid but it sticks up on one side.

    Convenient for storage in the fridge

    These plastic covers allow me to stack the Corningware dishes in the refrigerator. They also seal better that the glass covers which I prefer to use with the microwave oven.
