not perfect, not terrible
One problem with the phone is that every morning, or if I haven't used the phone for several hours, I have to rescan to get a good signal between the phone and the base. This can be a pain in the neck if you start a call and forget to scan, but once the signal is set, the calls are clear. My old 2.4Mhz phone never needs a rescan(channel change), but this is my first 5+Mhz, so I can't say my experience speaks for all of them. Otherwise, the functions work well. It's easy to learn the features. Vtech VT-IA5879 Cordless Phone
i have vtech cordless phones before with 2 lines, this one was a 5.8GHz which is an upgrade from the one i have. the phone was working great until my wife drop it in the tube. i let it dry out for a few days and it is working again. I bought this phone to leave it the computer room, when the old phone was left off the charger for days she grabed this one. the phone is simple to used and i find it easy to found by pushing the page botton.i have vtech cordless phones before with 2 lines, this one was a 5.8GHz which is an upgrade from the one i have. the phone was working great until my wife drop it in the tube. i let it dry out for a few days and it is working again. Really Good Phone, but limited range
It has many features without a whole lot of buttons, conference call feature is great, but only problem is that it has a limited (25ft) range.

It is nice ...speaker phone and cordless-TWO LINES!!!
It is a little noisy depending on where you are with it. Other than that, I love it!!! The speaker phone works great. You do have to sit the phone, you can't hang it on the wall ...that disappointed me.

I like the phone but, now wish I could of gotten one with the ability to add additional cordless phones to it. Phone is great..works great.
