After a brief swap of messages with the seller, he has apologised for the lost item, provided a refund and said I can keep the item if it ever turns up (over 3 weeks later and still no sign of it!!) It took a while for the package to get to me due to being sent by Royal Mail who seem to think it acceptable to delay parcels as and when they feel like it, delivery took just under 2 weeks. No issues with the seller Invicta Angling who dispatched my items as soon as they received my order.
