As a long time fan in a huge group of long time fans, the remastered edition of Fandango! is pure fire. We already knew the music was perfection, I wore out my original cassette tape in about a year, but the new sound is out of this world! The music really jumps out of the speakers now; studio favorites sound brand new, and the live stuff added at the end is a little more raw, but it really gives you the authentic feeling of being in a club standing right in front. It’s intense. If you are a ZZTop fan this cd will blow your mind, like it did mine. Let's Boogie Woogie!
It just doesn't get any better then this album! ZZ Top live, especially in the early days, was a good as it gets! This album is an excellent follow-up to "Tres Hombres". This album still has the heavy blues influence that made the early days of ZZ Top so great! This album starts out with a live performance from New Orleans and then follows with studio cuts. This remastered version also includes 3 additional live cuts. I'm not sure why a second live cut of Jailhouse Rock was included. Like many bands, to truly experience their energy and passion you have to see them live and this album lets the listener do this! If you want to hear what "That Little ol' Band from Texas" is originally all about, get this CD!It just doesn't get any better then this album! Like I remeber
Some 30 years ago, I "borrowed" this cassette from an older cousin. I didn't always understand what they were singing about (I think I was 13), but I knew it was good. Listening to it again, in the sonic clarity of the remastered cd instead of a junky cassette player confirms something that happens all to rarely. It is as good as I remember. Solid Texas boogie.

THIS IS THE BEST ALBUM FROM ZZ TOP!! SURE THEY HAD GREAT SONGS (AND BEARDS), IN THE 80'S. BUT, THIS IS MY FAVORITE, IT IS REMASTERED, PLUS EXTRA BONUS SONGS. IF YOU LIKE THEM, THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!
