    Excellent novel

    An excellent novel. This is the first of 4 books, that takes Eragon on an epic quest to battle the evil king Galabatorix and free the land. I love the detail with which the world is described, as well as the fantasy elements (dragons, magic, dwarfs, elves, etc). The characters are well portrayed.
