Slight design flaw
While the quality of the sites are actually quite good, the switchable aperture on the rear sight was designed incorrectly. The most common aperture, is the small one. With the small aperture in the deployed position, you cannot fold the site down, as the large aperture will get in the way. Most companies set their apertures about 160 degrees from each other, allowing them to stow properly. These are set on a 90 degree angle. If you only want to use the large aperture, or use the sites in the up position, they are very good for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Live without regrets, buy these sights!!
I have several sets of these sights on my rifles. There are many reasons for this. These are constructed of great quality materials. These sights also zero easy and HOLD zero extremely well. I love the fact that they lock in BOTH positions. And did I mention?, they also utilize the same sight tool that you already use with your fixed A2 sights. In fact, the front sight is the same as A2. So, should you have a mishap and break the sight post, it is readily replaceable with a standard sight post! The rear aperture is also the standard aperture, so it too is readily replaceable with aftermarket upgrade apertures if you want to make these something special. Keep in mind this is a very affordable flip up sight, to flip up you need to push the side button and to flip them back down you need to push the button again then you can push down, the front sight has a very slight side to side movement so well see how that holds up in the long run hints this would be a back up sight anyway, but all in all they look pretty goodVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Purchased two sets and neither will zero in on the target. Front sight will not set straight up due to elevation pin. I would recommend these for any enemy of the USA for sure though!!
