Should (HOPEFULLY) work well.
I have only just mounted my ladder to the front of my pontoon boat. I did test it by going down 3 steps and bouncing a little, I weigh about 200#. It didn't come off! The true test will be when the whole family is on board and we are swimming, tubing and just having fun. My oldest weighs just over 300#, so he says, and the ladder is rated for 350#. Let the test begin. Have a safe and blessed summer. One more thing, the ladder rails fill with water and makes it a bit heavy to pull out of the water. This is a very nice ladder, a breeze to put together. Like the universal mounting and I choose the mounting system that makes it very easy to remove as my pontoon dock is pulled in the winter. This ladder was very easy to put together. When I installed it on my dock, I chose to use galvanized lag screws instead of the bolts that were included - just seemed logical, plus I didn’t really want to swim under the dock to put on the bolt nuts. Good product for price but assembly was more difficult than anticipated
Overall good product for price. Assembly required boring lager holes on the mounting plate. The Predrilled holes in mounting bracket did not perfectly mate with holes on the ladder frame. This required modifying the holes on the bracket.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
