    great movie series, focus on family, morals and values. very refreshing, entertaining and gripping novel based movie. high quality filming, full screen. cant say enough good about it. if you like good westerns, this is for you. you will watch it till the end and not want to walk away.

    With a great cast and based on a good western writer, but ended up mediocre, at best.

    I like westerns and the main actors immensely, but this movie fell short. I was disappointed in the entire 2-disc story and wouldn't have purchased it if I had seen it before. Great cast, but very mediocre.

    Best western flick I've ever seen. The list of actors can't be beat, the story is great, it's filmed well, good story vignettes of western life, drama, comedy, irony... good long running time, as well. You can really get into it. I've given some copies I've bought to friends as gifts.

    The Sacketts

    I had read the books years ago, and the movie is pretty good as far as staying in character, and plot, considering it is two books! I don't believe you could have had 4 better actors to fill the rolls of the Sacketts, and especially Cap Roundtree! All over good entertainment!

    A Great Western Story

    The Sackett series are among my favorite in the Louis L’Amour collection, and this movie does an excellent job in portraying them. It’s got every western actor you can imagine and they play their roles well! This is a must see for anyone who loves western movies. I highly recommended!
