    Item works well, however this item was sold as new and clearly was not. The box was torn up, most of the protective packaging was missing and the unit itself had a pretty big crack in the casing.     SCAM SELLER! BEWARE!! They advertised the pump as "open box". When it arrived it didn't work and had dirt and stains inside and out. When I contacted them they told me they would send out a new pump right away and give me money back for the hassle. Weeks later and they have not sent me a new pump and have stopped responding to messages. My kids have been waiting to play in the pool for weeks, by the time I return this and get a new pump summer will be over
