    Misunderstood AND Appreciated.

    This was, perhaps, the most engaging documentary I've ever seen, chock full of understanding and music. Pete Seeger was a wonderful songwriter who loved his wife and children, but also this country and its 'real' people. While I knew dribs and drabs about his less than public life, this DVD puts everything in perspective and helped me to admire this great man even more than I had before viewing it. At the age of 92, he still left us too early.

    Entertaining review of Pete Seeger's life and work.

    I received this DVD as a gift from a friend who shares my admiration for and interest in Pete Seeger and his music. Besides enjoying the music on the DVD, I enjoyed learning more about Pete's personal background and music history. I would have liked to have the DVD include more of his actual performances, but I also appreciated the mix of history and performances.

    Musical Film for All Time

    This is a first-class tribute to one of America's greatest citizens. It combines excellent music with historic film footage, interviews, dialog, and family contributions. I have never seen a better biographical dvd. Jim Snoke, Anthropologist, Educator, and Humanist
