    Wonderful romp through 17th century England

    An MGM classic. Beautiful sets and costumes and a very entertaining and humorous story performed by a stellar cast. Albert Finney is at his youthful best. Saw it on the big screen years ago and it's just as engaging now as it was then. Greatness never grows old! This is a must for every movie buff's collection.

    Tom Jones At Last

    This film is one of the greatest stores Tony Richardson ever did. It took me 5 years to find an original, and was well worth the wait and expense. Anyone who has researched England in that period will see Great Character Development and Presentation. Living Conditions Depicted, and how Bawdy Life could be with the Upper Middle Crust. The Rapier wit between Hugh Griffith, and Dame Edith Evans, (Squire Weston and his Sister), And the never to be forgotten Scenes of Jenny and Tom having supper at the Inn, are Raucous. Do yourself a favor and at least see this film. And if you are a collector, grab it while it is still available.

    Watched it in the 60s/70s. The audience was naive so we nearly got tossed out of the theater. Lots of innuendo and lots of good ole fun. When your in your 30s it's a riot, and even afterward. Would recommend. Watch the dinner scene with the chicken!
