YMM2 Made My Life Easier
This little box does exactly what it's supposed to do. I don't have a high-traffic situation to test the merge and see if I can overload it, but it's perfect for what I wanted - to allow one controller to control either a virtual instrument in my computer or a hardware synth without requiring the computer to route the MIDI data and without requiring me to re-patch cables.
