Soothes & prevents and neutralizes acid no matter what the cause! I'd recommend this to anyone who gets reflux or an upset tummy from acidic foods. Also helps protect tummy whe You have a bug or the flu, with it, it doesn't burn as much if/when you vomit! Also soothing if you have ulcers. Perfect if you have stress related tummy problems! Pepcid Complete has always worked for me after trying about every antacid out there. I have chronic heartburn and they have always taken the edge off the discomfort. If the heartburn is extreme I'll take 1 1/2 or 2 but that is not something they recommend on the packaging.
