    Very good tires - drove 3500 miles in the winter and is holding up great.

    As the title says, drove a lot in very wet conditions and also snow/slush. I can spin them in slushy conditions but other than that they're EXCELLENT for normal rain and pretty good in light to medium snow. Drove through many roads where other cars (including big trucks) were either stuck or were chaining up. I haven't had to chain them once, just drove past all of them. Although we don't get a ton of snow where I live. Quieter than my old tires. The only drawback is the mpg goes down by 1 or 2, but I sort of expected that with how grippy these tires are on roads in both wet and dry conditions. I can take curves at way higher speeds than I was able to, sometimes even better than sports sedans, in my taller crossover not known for its speed or handling abilities :)

    Cooper CS5 Grand Touring

    Bought these tires used with 8-9/32"tread left. The "wear squares" are nice and will tell you if one side of the tire is lower than the other in tread depth. These tires replaced Primewell All Seasons in front and Primewell Valera Touring II in rear. Immediately noticed a difference. These ride great and have good grip!

    Cooper tire CS5

    Cooper tire discontinued the CS5 excellent tire had them on several vehicles, great handling in wet and dry conditions and a quiet ride. Found one tire on eBay after hitting a pothole with only 8000 miles on my set of four. so was happy to find one out there new so I didn’t have to buy Cooper‘s new pro control which is what they made in place of the CS5 big mistake by that company changing this tire. It was an 80,000 mile tire and they replaced it with a 70,000 go figure

    Deep, deep tread with smooth ride

    The Cooper CS5 Grand Touring tires look & ride excellent! Purchased at a great price and the $70 rebate Visa card was exactly what the shop charged to install the tires...so no further $ out of pocket.....Work great on our Town & Country Van...this is the third brand of tires we've had on the rig..and the best for the $ so far. Previous brands purchased were Yokohama Avid S33 and Hankook Optimo H724. Yokohamas were 2nd best, with Hankooks running in 3rd place (they wore too quickly). P.S> Make sure shop installs tires correctly:Cooper tires have an " inside" and an "outside" since they are "asymmetrical" tires.
