The volume is about 1/10 of that of an acoustic violin, allowing you to enjoy playing the violin quietly.Sound energy is reduced to 1/100th of an acoustic violin. Although a slight friction sound is produced to take advantage of the vibrations of the strings, the audible sound volume is reduced to about 1/10th. You can enjoy playing with headphones at any time without worrying about your surroundings. This is an authentic violin with thorough attention to detail. The bridge and strings are exactly the same as those used on acoustic violins. The neck and fingerboard are made of high-grade wood, which gives the fingertips a natural playing feel. The frame is shaped to allow the bow to be played at the proper angle, allowing for a smooth transition to an acoustic violin.
Very nice, Just had shoulder surgery so can't go crazy on it yet. I did test it the best I could and it sounds great. I have only used standard violins and cellos but I am also a guitarist with many effects pedals. Hooking this up with some effects was really cool.
