Contempory Musical Interpretaions Changed the Music Too Much
Hildegard von Bingen was a brilliant composer for her times, and I do not disparage her talents in any manner. My issue is with the musical interpretations, paticularly the rhythms. They appeared to be contemporary in nature, and carried too much weight in the presentation. Von Bingen was a nun that wrote chants and other religious music, but there wasn't anyone who wrote like her during the middle ages.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
