    Blu ray fulfills longtime search

    The blu ray is great. I have seen the film several times on dvd format so the upgrade to 1080 p jumps out with the detail and clarity. Some may not even like so much detail as it also shows all the little flaws and wrinkles (Sean Connery was 53 at the time of filming) but for me, who remembers a time before even VHS tape, this format seems even more impressive than when I saw the film in the theatre. I have a home theatre sound system so the sound available with the surround makes for a viewing experience I didn't even imagine was possible. I have been looking for this movie on blu ray for years and being able to get it at a price that I was willing to pay is quite rewarding. Now there are now special features but for the price (compared to what other sources are demanding) this is more ...
