Works as stated!
I purchased a factory reconditioned DynaTrap for about 1/2 the cost of a new one and it came with a 1 year warranty. It looks new, has a nice long cord and works exactly as stated. After 2 weeks, I've noticed a substantial decrease in the bugs when I'm working in the yard. So far, we've emptied beetles, moths, flies and gnats. Too expensive for lack of capability
The item only attract moths, which I'm not worried about, when no other light is around. I used it twice and got bites from mosquito which is my main pest problem. Gnats are still flying around like there's nothing to attract then even as close as about 12ft. I do a lot of gardening and I need a good repellent and this is not it. I think I'm giving up on all these contraptions to keep away bugs and stick to the spray bug repellent because these light and clip-on things do not work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nothing more than a bug catcher!
Had been wanting 1 of these for year!! Finally got one and it works good for catching all kinds of bugs however.......it did little if anything at all to help solve our mosquito problem...which is the only reason i bought it! Spend ur money on having someone come to spray ur yard. Only by the dyna trap if u want to catch nuisance bugs and moths...it did catch several Japanese Hornets as well....which was kinda surprising considering they are pretty big!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well worth the Investment!
This is my 2nd DynaTrap. After several years of faithful service; I damaged the 1st one while taking it down during hurricane Ian. This product really does kill mosquitoes and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Mosquitoes are really bad where I live in Florida to the point that we were constantly under attack when outside in the evening and early morning hours. After using the DynaTrap we barely notice them. It must be kept on all the time for it to work properly and it needs to be cleaned out regularly as it fills up with dead mosquitoes after a few days. It's good for all kinds of insects.

I'm Buying Anothe One!
I was skeptical that this could produce CO2 & really work but it certainly does. After 4 days we emptied it & were very surprised by the number of mosquitos it trapped! It trapped a lot of moths also but caught a large number of mosquitos of all sizes, very small to very large. I am buying another one to put by the front door. The one I bought is in my back yard. No more mosquitos
These flying insect traps work great! I have one for my own yard, and bought this as a gift. They have an ultraviolet light which attracts many kinds of insects, and they produce CO2 to attract even more. The insects are then sucked in by a quiet but powerful fan and trapped by the airflow in a chamber where they eventually dehydrate and die. The unit plugs in to a standard outlet, and requires little maintenance. I have yet to replace the lamp on mine after over 3 years of continuous use. You have to occasionally empty the trap of all the collected insects, and while you have it apart, clean the screen so it will continue to work well.
