Fits my 11hp Briggs!
My 11hp Briggs was not on the application chart but I took a chance and bought this anyway and it works just fine. I had to cut out a little bit of the sheet metal with tin snips to get it to fit under the hood of my old Murray riding mower but it was worth it. took about a 1/2 hour to install.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great muffler for an old mower!
I've had this old mower that I use to cut a field for folks to walk their dogs.Been tweeting on this mower to keep it running.Carb rebuild/changing out belts/new blades/ect. but it had this muffler that 1) weighed a lot 2) was welded onto a piece of 1 and 1/4 metal pipe with pipe threads with a lock washer you would tighten to the motor after twisting into the motor this pipe/muffler. Kept falling out! JB welded the threads....nope. Then researched the motor number and seen it also used this style of muffler and ordered it.Wow.....sweet! I have an old(1979) Sears Craftsman 10hp Briggs & Stratton Mower with a 1" pipe threaded exhaust. I noticed the exhaust port had 2 threaded holes so I went for a gamble to see if this would fit and it fit like a charm! perfect!
