    Smooth, little smaller

    Old mouse pad w/wrist rest was definitely larger so will have to see if this one is too small. So far, though, it's size has been sufficient. Definitely a LOT smoother than my old one. The mouse feet felt like their edges were catching on the old pad. The mouse now glides easily on this new pad. Got black since I'm not worried about battery draw with a non-battery wired mouse (prefer lighter wired mice over heavier batteried wireless mice, and the mouse is always in the same spot so wireless is unneeded).

    Disappointing mouse pad

    I expected the gel pad to be softer than it is and, hopefully, it'll soften over time, but right now it's not comfortable at all. In my opinion, it's not well designed. There's a slight "dip' on the top, where I'd expect it to be round, like my old, worn out Allsop mouse pad and that increases my disappointment.

    Just what the doctor ordered

    After years of hard work using my hands and my body as an x-ray tech, early degenerate joint injury has made computer work painful at times. This gel pad alleviates some of the discomfort at the wrist allowing for me to be able to work at the computer longer with less stress on my wrist and forearm. It works great. No second surgery needed.

    Soft and silky, washable too!

    I have two of these and I love them, use them everyday. They hold up for a long time, wear well. Very comfortable to use, a huge improvement over standard mouse pads with no gel pad for the wrist.

    In time, it's okay

    It needs to be used and worn in, otherwise the mouse is too sensitive acting. The wrist rest could be a little higher, and especially SOFTER. Hopefully the stiffness of the wrist rest will wear in with use also. I think it will be quite durable. Overall, I rate this with a 4 star Good, as I've had better.
