    Great value

    The Vevor 116 pc Metric and SAE tap and die set is a quality set. The dies fit smooth but secure in the handle and it made rethreading bolts an easy task. The only minor problem is one of the taps does not fit snuggly in the case and with the taps in the lid it becomes a problem. I put an index card in the slot and the tap fits well now. The set is very complete with both SAE and Metric. In addition to dies and taps the set includes two thread gages and bolt extractors. For the money this is the best value I could find on the market.

    I've used a couple of the dies and with just one use they showed some wear on the cutting edges. I think they will work fine for thread chasing. If you are wanting to cut new threads with more than occasional use I'd invest in spilt dies.

    I am very happy to have a tap and die set again and this one is 4 times bigger than what I use to have, the blow form inserts that hold the Taps need to be just a wee bit tighter, have a couple that fall out every time I go to close it, other than that its what I wanted and I am using it alot....
