    Better for door hinges than finel cabinet work.

    It is portable, sturdy, and comes decently sharpened. The way the blade is recessed under the edge makes exact aligning difficult for close tolerances and the strong return spring and molded case make sharpening very difficult. This means that when it does need sharpening I will probably just have to buy another one.

    I only wanted the blade to make a different version of a corner chisel to cut inlaid veneer. The chisel was shaped on a rough grinder and I would have preferred a smoother edge..
