Ups your RCA output voltage
I used this with an SMD DD-1 distortion detector to set its gain first and then the gain on my sub amp. Result is a HUGE difference. The RCA output signal voltage was increased by the AudioControl to the point that barely upping the input gain on the sub amp triggered the distortion light on the DD-1. THAT is exactly what needed to happen and the Overdrive Plus achieved it successfully. Why? Because my head unit outputs only 2V through its RCA outputs and the sub amp is a 200W Soundstream Angina, my bass was being overpowered by the speakers. The amp was not being used to its full potential because of the low RCA voltage. This AudioControl Overdrive Plus solved the issue. Now I am getting maximum performance out of the sub amp. It's the loudest, cleanest 200W RMS I've ever heard. Again, I used a DD-1 to set the gains properly. The ear is not a good tool to set gains. Most of the time when the bass sounds incredible, the signal is clipping. But with a hot signal provided by a line driver like the Overdrive Plus and a properly set gain, everything will sound like it should!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I got control but no power on/off
