    Garbled playback.

    I was so happy when I opened the package and looked at this recorder. It looked to be in very good condition. Not banged up or anything like that. However, when I put 2 batteries in the recorder and a microcassette tape and tried to record my voice, the quality of the playback was NOT good. The sound is raspy and difficult to understand. I tried several different tapes, thinking maybe the problem was with the cassette, but the result is the same. Not useful for our purposes.
