The ornament itself was inside an old bubble wrap envelope, which was then wrapped in brown paper with tape, inside the ornament box. I was offered to return the item for a full refund, but there was no offer to pay me for my time or inconvenience at having been sold a very used item. I needed it for a gift, and now that is not possible. I offered the seller to give me a $10 refund, but the effort required by eBay is not worth it.
