Directions for the installation of the wiring is confusing and could be better explained by enlarging the pictures and showing which and how many go where. I have installed about 10 of your garage openers and this one was the most confusing. There were several confusing areas which could be better explained such as the procedure for having the in car system to raise and lower the door. Craftsman Belt Drive Opener w/ Battery Backup Will Save Your Bacon
This is a great opener. The belt drive is quiet, and has an easy, digital stop adjustment method. No potentiometers to turn or set. The battery backup has been a great asset, as when the power goes out we still need access to our garage space (to pull the generator out). The remote setup is straightforward, and the garage button provides temp and trip sensor status. Easy to install. Works right out of the box with the remote fobs pre-programmed to the unit. The only thing you have to do is program the remote key pad which is incredibly easy to do.Be sure to pound the rail sections together to the stops otherwise the chain will be short.
