    A great accessory to use with your Leatherman bitd

    This is not a 3rd person mod for a Leatherman EDC (Every Day Carry) tool but rather an official accessory made by and marketed by Leatherman. If you have a Leatherman (I carry a Surge with me at all times) and one of their Bit Kits then you really need this ratcheting extension. My bit kit came with the standard bit extension (I ordered it as a set here on Ebay) but this is worth purchasing seperatly and using instead. It will ratchet in either direction as well as lock into place for use like a standard bit extender. I can even connect the 2 extensions together to make them longer!

    So far very good!

    So I've seem some You Tube destruction tests on this item but also noticed that the actual Leatherman holding part will break before this ratcheting bit holder will break. Somewhere around 35 lbs of torque will break the actual part that holds this ratcheting bit holder long before the ratcheting device. So I will be not to use this as an actual socket wrench but it's really not intended to be used as one!!! So all beware it's only for small jobs not big ones!

    THE VERY BEST ATTACHMENT

    It is probably one of the best attachments that Leatherman makes. I maintain 4 different car wash sites. I carry a few small sockets and the screwdriver and use it multiple times per day. INVALUABLE!!
