    For the money, worth every penny and more!

    It takes some time to set it all up. Once it's hooked up and working, then you have to tweak it for personal sound quality. For me it was day 1, just enjoy the great sound. Day 2 adjust the sound base, treble, and sub woofer to my liking. Day 3 get my TV remote to adjust the sound. I was in no hurry and it was all just a little time to figure it out. Loving it!!! The sound is so much better than any TV puts out, the sub woofer can be placed anywhere near if you can plug it into power (wireless connection). I have it turning on when I turn on TV, it tells me hello, it's on. It shuts itself off after I turn off TV for a certain time. For what I paid, this is the best deal I could have found!

    Good, but not all that powerful.

    Quick and easy set-up. Works well, although it does not put out the type of sound level that would be expected of a product rated at a supposed 300 watts. It is much better than the flat tv original speaker volume, the sound is clear, and it has a nice remote too. Sadly I have a small 15 watt boombox that will blow this thing out of the water for room filling sound. Good product, but lacking in sound power.

    Sounds good and love the features!

    Had a different brand and you had no control over the subwoofer and would have a constant low roar from it. This bar sounds really good and gives you control over the volume of the bass and also how much bass you want. Can change the effect with the remote. Connected with my tv arc and like the sound. Can control the volume through the settings with tv remote and also have it shut down when I power off my tv. the sound bar powers off. I like the sound and features. Played some hard 80's rock and family did not like the volume I had it at so I sent them to a different room. Would not trade it.

    Easy set-up; good value

    I like the Samsung HW-KM45C sound bar because of the simplicity of it, the ease of set up, and it was very reasonably priced. I am using it in a medium-sized living room and it serves our needs quite adequately. The only part that I am somewhat dissatisfied with is the synchronizing between the sound output and the video. It has a feature to adjust the sound to try to match the video, but I have not found it to be a perfect match, and when playing DVDs, there is an obvious delay that I cannot rectify. This is annoying to watch and sometimes makes me just turn of the soundbar and revert to the TV speakers. Overall, I am satisfied with the product, as I got it at a reasonable price.

    Setup was difficult but product sounds great

    The setup for this is very confusing you came with no instructions. Once you do figure out how to get it set up it does sound great especially if you're connecting it to a Samsung TV. It could be quite cumbersome to figure out how to modify your TV sound output in order to get it synced. It was quite difficult trying to troubleshoot the TV speakers and the surround sound speakers which had a delay and sounded like an echo. By turning off the TV speakers and only using this it solve the issue.
