    Nice basic cookbook for ingredients you can get in rural midwest.

    This is just what I wanted. However, it was not clean. Outside cover was clean, but the inside was not. I cleaned the inside covers and went page by page to clean what I could. I already have one just like this and it is very worn from 40 years of use, so the newly purchased is better than my own.

    Best cookbook of all time

    I bought this to replace my beat up and bartered 1981 cookbook. I have bought later versions and the recipes are NOT the same. If you like good old fashioned cooking, you have to get this cookbook. If you can find an 80s version for a good price, grab it. The cheesecake and cookie recipes alone are worth it! The ingredients substitution and cooking time charts are great too!

    Where have you been!

    I lost this cook book due to a friend "borrowing" and never returning it. It had been a huge part of my early cooking years and was a gift from my father at one point. So that being the case I had wanted to replace it and I looked and looked. I bought 7 other cookbooks from Better Homes and Gardens and none of them were quite like this one. Thank goodness I finally found the one I had been looking for! I am so happy!

    Perfect cookbook

    I just wrote a wonderful review for this just the other day. Ebay for some reason will not record my reviews and yet they still keep asking me to write one. So for you i will write another one. I absolutely love it! I grew up with this book and it details every cooking method you would need to cook any kind of meat all the way up to recipes. Just a perfect book to have at least for this Cali girl. Thank you for everything. great shipping too!
