    Practically an OEM replacement battery

    I bought this one for my sister's Compaq Presario laptop and it results to be a practical OEM replacement for it. (The MU06 battery is the one used by default in many HP and Compaq laptop models, so it can be taken as an almost universal battery for these brands.) This one provides the top quality associated with an OEM replacement, following the specifications of the original (voltage, current, etc.) up to the utmost detail. The lifetime for this battery is 3-4 hours under heavy use (she uses the laptop at college and at home). If you have a Compaq or HP laptop, this is very probably the battery your equipment uses, so I totally recommend it.

    Defective Battery?

    Supposedly a new genuine HP battery, however, it would not hold a charge. After being fully charged, computer indicated a battery life of 3 hours and 8 minutes, however, battery would fully discharge after 1 hour and 30 minutes and computer would shut down. Also, battery did not shipped in original HP packaging which makes me wonder if this was a remanufactured battery in an HP case. Not Happy!

    Recvd in clear wrap, OEM as advertised, didn't have the white tape on back bottom left specifying when it was manufactured. When 100% charged, discharges about 1% per minute, when in use. Could be new, not sure. I think good value product for the cost.

    Looks Good, New, But Not Hold Charge

    I charge the battery, but in less of 3hrs goes complete discharge, they said is original, but the one that came with the laptop, the original that's kind of damage because don't hold charge, well the discharge came in the 5hrs.
