Gamers take control of Staten Island firefighter and National Guardsman Tom Riley as he tries to defend New York from the August 15, 1951, Chimeran invasion in Resistance: Burning Skies. Nihilistic Software (Conan, PlayStation Move Heroes) assumes the development duties for the first Vita entry in Sony's alternate-reality FPS, taking full advantage of the platform's touch screen and motion controls. Players can access their weapon's secondary fire mode, throw grenades, and execute melee attacks using the touch screen, or tilt the system forward to quickly exit cover.

    The 2nd best 1st person shooter on PS Vita

    The first best shooter on the Playstation Vita is Killzone mercenary, so if you have not tried that yet then you should. But resistance is a good game as well. It has good value just like it's PlayStation 3 trilogy. You get great guns that are like a more serious Ratchet and Clank weaponry and awesome grenades. The graphics are not as good as the PS3 games, but is good enough and does not stray away from the tone of the earlier games. If I had to rate this game, I would give it a 4 out of 5. It could of been better if they put more time into it with graphics and cutscenes, but besides that. Those are overlook-able and you will still have a great experience with this installment to the collection.
