My Whirlpool refrigerator was going > on/off/on/off < over and over, the relays were clicking. While the fridge was 14 years old it was in great shape. Control board was not available. The fix of replacing cap and 5 relays worked perfectly. Its like new again... The old cap was swollen, sure sign of damage. Installed and working well again
Startboy1010 was nice enough to let me pick up the parts at his home. It took me longer to FIND where the control board lurks in this unit and vacuum out years of dust. The cap definitely measured bad and the supplied part is the same excellent grade I used in my job. Highly recommended because the parts are better than the originals.
Saved thousands repairing my 17 yr old 48-inch KitchenAid fridge. Its controller board is not in stock anymore. Even better, according to the components manufacturer's data sheets the relays on the kit are better than the originals. It took me less that an hour to replace all 4 relays and the capacitor. If you have no experience with soldering I suggest you watch a training video first, and use braided copper wire to cleanly remove the old components, avoiding damage on the circuit board.

More Components Than Required
I only needed a single capacitor -- tried replacing it (supplied with the kit) first and the refrigerator worked perfectly. I should have purchased that capacitor that others had implied was the weak component -- and save myself some money. Would have rated 5-stars except for this observation.
