    Camping/ lunch eating utensil set stainless steel

    I compared this set with the old one I purchased many years ago (five for sure) at Walmart (camping department, probably for around $ 3-4). I used the set to save Mother Earth and eat lunch at work instead of wasting plastic utensils every time. In the old one the spoon started twisting this year in both directions, unstable because it loosend up and there is no screw to tighten it. Very similar. Made in China. No brand name, though. The teeth of the new fork are shorter, the new spoon is more shallow and smaller. That us the difference I noticed.

    This is my first review about anything, anywhere and I do it as a service to any and all of you folks looking to purchase this product. This item is just plain bad. The fork does not lock into position which means that when you attempt to skewer anything, it's going to fold on you. The metal is low grade, it flexes and twists. I bought two and upon opening and inspecting this flimsy, poorly made item, I chucked them both into the recycle bin. This Fork/Spoon folder is a waste of money and a complete piece of TRASH. Buyer beware.

    Item as described. One half got a little bent and the shell picked up a couple of dents during shipment because it came in an envelope that didn't have enough padding. Be aware that the only thing that keeps the halves connected is when the fork and spoon are completely stowed...open either one of them and the halves will start to separate. However, the tools are fairly sturdy and seems like it'll work OK.

    A gift for a friend

    This item was purchased as a gift for a friend. My friend is a construction contractor and often takes leftovers for his lunch but always seemed to forget utensils to eat with. He really likes this set because of their quality material ( stainless steel) and the fact that they are detachable so more than one utensil can be used at the same time.

    Camping knife

    Good product at a good price. Not the quality as the higher end knives, but wasn't expecting them to be that. Perfect utility knife for camping, etc. Like the fact that the knife separates so you can use fork in one hand and knife in other. The higher end knives don't do that.
