    A "teen" version of X-Files?

    Very engaging and well-written series. Unlike X-Files, the story line is ongoing rather than a different storyline each week (like X-Files was), thus maintaining a continuity of characters and plot. The twists and turns and unexpected reveals are what keep things at a heightened level. Special effects are, in some cases, mindboggling but effective--and rarely detract from the storyline. I've ordered Season 2 and can hardly wait for it to arrive to see what happens next!

    Not as Good as I Expected

    The main characters were middle school age. The adults were incidental to the story. The monsters were few and far between. The ending was incomplete. I guess that the rest of the resolution will be in season 2. I'll pass.

    Best Christmas present ever

    This show is so good, and they made it even better with this presentation. You couldn't have asked for a better way to get fully nostalgic with this format. I hope they release a special edition for season 2, as well.

    Strange that it is so Good

    Like most I loved the "retro" VHS packaging on this Blu-ray. But what was better was that the center piece that holds the disc was not that cheap plastic that always breaks, it was a felt-like disc, so no scratching of your discs either as you try to put them back. The only negative, like most have already said, was that you had to sit through the several minutes long preview and some other thing without the ability to skip past it. Believe me I tried all the options to no avail. Otherwise like everybody else, I am loving the series. The cliff hangers are really that--you almost always have to move on to the next episode---I see why people binge watch this, because you can't get away.

    The name certainly lives up to the title

    I like oddball, interesting (that is to say quirky) entertainment. This series certainly fits the bill. My son told me about it.He has BluRay and I have DVD so told him I would buy the combo set and give him the BluRay but I kept the box.
