    Cool Sensor for the Money EZ Setup

    Nice little addition to my XOSS G+. I have a Garmin Edge 500 that has never been too steady when it comes to current speed readout. Then got the XOSS thinking it might be more steady on the road. But side by side comparison on same rides, seemed about the same. A friend suggested a speed sensor. Got it and I see a little bit of steadiness but I think more in the final distance and speed while loading to Strava. So I can't say it is something you notice on the road, but I want to feel it is more accurate. I had considered getting an old school speedometer before finding this sensor. I can't say it is a necessity but HOPING it makes a difference vs no sensor. The good thing is that it works with Garmin and CAN BE USED SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH BOTH DEVICES, or two devices at once. That's cool ...

    Works fine for speed, Not so well for cadence

    I used these with a Garmin Edge 130. The sensors worked fine as speed sensors but gave erratic readings when configured and used as cadence sensors.

    Paired right up

    I installed it according to the directions except I added a couple turns of black tape for safety’s sake. One little gotcha is that the battery cover only seems to go on one way. Wish I had paid more attention taking it off. Tracks cadence well enough.
