Impressed with the quality of this little tripod
I've had my D810 and 24-70 f/2.8 lens on this and it seems pretty stable. Overall I'm impressed with the quality of this little tripod for the price. It won't replace my big 3 series Gitzo but then, that's not why I bought it. This one will fit easily into a carry on piece of luggage and I'll be able to take a tripod where before I wouldn't have been able to. My only gripe is that to turn the tripod into a monopod you have to keep track of the extra bolt that allows the center column to the leg. It seems like with a little more engineering thought this would have been an unnecessary part. Amazing quality at an equally amazing price!
Really liked the Manfrotto BeFree tripod, but this is lighter, smaller, cheaper, AND better quality! Gives the option to convert to just a monopod and provides a rock-solid hold for my Nikon D750 with 24-70mm F2.8 lens. Absolutely no movement after tightening where I had to allow for a little movement on the BeFree after tightening. Like that the legs have retractable metal spikes if you need to use them and that the center column has a hook to hang your bag to make the whole thing even more solid.Really liked the Manfrotto BeFree tripod, but this is lighter, smaller, cheaper, AND better quality!
