Powerful, smooth, quiet but needs a little modification to fit.
This is a good motor and fits the Delta Unisaw correctly with one exception: The electrical junction box interferes with the cabinet when the saw blade is raise high and tilted. So either the cabinet opening must be enlarged or the junction box modified to make it shorter. I chose to modify the junction box to keep the saw as original as possible. Motor runs quietly and smoothly. Also nice to be able to wire 220V or 110V - depending upon your preference.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

New UniSaw Motor
pretty simple really, my unisaw motor stopped working & I looked on E Bay, found this, best price I could find anywhere when you figure in free shipping, it was shipped & arrived scary fast, they must have a distribution center within 100 miles of me, it was here in 3 days..Installation was easy enough, my adult son helped with the support the heavy object at a back breaking angle part, bless him, my saw is a late 90's Right tilt unisaw & this fit perfect & wired into my existing switch no problem, runs strong I am satisfied, it is a 2 hp where as the original motor was a 3hp but only a 2 or 4 were available as replacements, I could not afford the 4.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
