    Wonderful version of a classic musical!

    Before this version (1957) of Brigadoon was finally released on CD, I bought a revival version on CD because it was all I could find. It was very complete (even with dialogue) and there were some good singers on there too. But I still kept missing this one. I love the orchestrations and arrangements the most. And while Shirley Jones & Jack Cassidy.are very good, I especially missed Frank Poretta who is absolutely awesome in his supporting role and his gorgeous tenor voice as he sings Go Home With Bonnie Jean and Come to Me, Bend to Me. And again, the arrangements -- so perfect! So when I found a good CD of this album, I couldn't wait to snatch it up. The new one is very nice, but this is my favorite hands down!
