  • Cheap and CANNOT be updated.

I purchased this because I wanted another Satnav and this was cheap. Now I know why. It cannot be updated and so far has failed twice to find roads that are in a relatively old A2Z I have. Typing in an address is awkward and definitely something that needs to be done when stationary. Plus point it only (usually) needs a partial postcode and it has taken me right to the destination on other occasions I have successfully used it. Overall as the saying goes "I got what I paid for." These are cheaply available on eBay and if you want a cheap one it'll do the job (sometimes), but make sure you have other means of finding your destination just in case. Personally I would spend a bit more money and get a model that can be updated like I had to. Marks out of ten 3.

  • Great product, it takes me where I want to go!

I seem to be getting older and I have difficulty remembering exactly where an address is if I have not visited in a long time. I can look on a map but I can guarantee I will miss one turning. So I bought my first sat-nav. My only complaint is the vocal instructions, the voice grates on me. It is my first sat-nav so I cannot compare with others. I bought this particular model on my son's reccommendation.

  • Not good value for money.

Unfortunately the Satnav was sold with a faulty in-car charger, which was not noted. There were bare wires from the plug end and so I had to purchase a new one. The seller also overchaged on postage which I was very unhappy about. Although the Satnav works fine, I am disappointed overall with the product.

  • Does the job

For a budget sat-nav, this little gizmo does the job quite nicely. Just don't expect too much. It has very clear audio directions, and provides an on-screen readout which is easy to see and can offer some useful information - such as current speed, time, heading, etc. The ETA function seems rather inaccurate though, and the fact that you can't input a full postcode to find a destination is a little bit niggling. Aside from those things, there's not a great deal to fault with it. You get the usual points of information such as petrol stations, and you can customise your destinations with names. At the time of release it would have been pretty up-to-date, but now I feel better options are probably available - unless you can pick a second hand one up pretty cheap, of course.

  • Navman icN 320 car gps.

My first Navman 320 was bought simply because it was cheap (£149 delivered) and I wanted to see if (a) it worked, & (b) wether I was capable of working it! (Old Git). Very pleasantly suprised. After playing, then reading the manual, then playing again, I quickly became familiar with it. I used it all the time, even locally when popping down the road to the shops, so that I could see how it performed when I knew the journey well. I could ignore the directions, and see what happened, and how it worked out. On longer, unknown journeys it has been excellent, and on occasions downright impressive. However I have not tried any of the similar competitors to do a comparison. The second Navman was a present for a friend, so I thought it would be easier to advise over the phone should a problem ...
