With a little effort, great in the micro-t
I bought this to rebuild the diff in my micro-t, which is notorious for chewing up diffs. I was able to find the alloy trans case that had bearings on the input shaft as well as the diff as well to put this into. With a few shims and some mild widdling of plastic on the micro-t "ring" gear, the smaller scte diff gears fit perfectly. After shimming until it was a hair notchy, I drove around gently for a pack or so (2S with high roller motor/DT tires), the diff really loosened up. Then I put in another small shim or two and it's been great ever since. Never have I run my micro-T so much without diff failure or overheating. With the alloy case, this set of sun gears, the 2.4ghz receiver/esc I put in it and buying a 2S lipo, the micro-t has actually become fun! I've run it more in the past ...
