    This book is an absolute masterpiece in martial art publications. It is abundant in quantity of information and very clear, enjoyable and easy to read. It discusses tai chi under practically any point of view: martial, health related, philosophical, historical etc. It is a precious introduction to tai chi chuan for anyone who's thinking about studying this art and a very deep insight of the art for those who are already familiar or very familiar with it. This book is not meant to be a handbook, yet it does present the chen, yang and wu forms very clearly as well as many other elements of the tai chi practise.
