I AM HAPPY I FINALLY WENT WITH THIS TV AS OPPOSED TO THE SAMSUNG OR LG EQUIVILENT. THE PIC IS TERRIFIC, THE SOUND MORE THAN ADEQUATE AND THE BUILD QUALITY IS WHAT IT SHOULD BE . THE LEGS ARE ACTUALLY ALUMINUM UNLIKE MOST EVERY OTHER TV IN THIS PRICE RANGE. OFF CENTER VIEWING IS BETTER THAN EXPECTED AND MOST IMPORTANT FEATURES CAN BE HANDLED AUTOMATICALLY FROM WITHIN THE MENU SETTINGS. I PAID 389.00 AND THATS A STEAL COMPARED TO THE SAMSUNG 7000 SERIES OR ANY OF THE LG'S. I THINK WE WILL BE SEEING A LOT MORE OF THIS BRAND TAKING OVER THE MARKET.

Not a bad TV. Good: does srgb for pc gaming well. Great for 60 hz gaming Android TV isn't as good as roku but gives many options for apps Bad The zone lighting looks funny in scenes that switch from light to dark. Doesn't do a good job of HDR with PC I would say go slightly cheaper now and wait for a decent 4k 120hz tv to crack 500$ in a year or so.

I shopped for about 2 months. I wanted to buy the H9G but found it was out of stock everywhere and it had a few unfavorable reviews after an update. I looked at the TCL 635 and found for the price and even with the mini dots, it wasn't all that. Besides I am an old retired guy on a fixed income and saving a few bucks on a TV for the bedroom sounds good. So I stared looking at old reviews on the H8G.. They sounded pretty good and for just over $325 it was a no brainer. It arrived from Electronic Express on time and in perfect condition. I had it on hanging on the wall and turned on about 10 minutes. After a few minutes of adjustments I found a 4k movie on Netflix and wow I was so impressed. Even better was how well it's picture preformed on standard cable TV. I am happy to say this Hisense punches way over it's head an price.
